Aussie Park Barbies – Participation Terms

These terms are here to make sure everyone understands how Aussie Park Barbies works.
They’re about clarity, not fine print.

By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you understand what participation involves and how content may be used, it is essential that you agree to these terms, download and complete a talent release for ALL people participating.

1. What participation involves

Aussie Park Barbies is a community-focused cooking and storytelling project filmed in public spaces such as parks and BBQ areas.

Participation may involve:

  • being filmed or photographed

  • preparing or cooking food

  • speaking on camera

  • interacting with other guests or members of the public

Filming is relaxed and conversational, but content is produced for public viewing.

2. Editing and storytelling

All episodes are edited to create a clear, engaging story.

This means:

  • scenes may be shortened or removed

  • conversations may be edited for clarity

  • footage may be combined with music, graphics, or other visuals

Aussie Park Barbies retains full editorial discretion.

3. Ownership and use of content

All footage, images, and recordings created remain the property of Aussie Park Barbies.

Content may be used across:

  • YouTube

  • the Aussie Park Barbies website

  • social media platforms

  • promotional material related to the project

This may include future reuse such as trailers, highlights, or compilations.

4. Use by participants

Participants are welcome to share links to published episodes and clips on their own platforms.

Downloading, re-editing, or using footage for commercial purposes (such as advertising or paid promotion) requires prior written permission.

5. Credits

Where practical, Aussie Park Barbies will credit participants, community groups, or organisations involved.

Credit format and placement is at the discretion of the producers.

6. People under 18

If people under 18 appear on camera:

  • a parent or legal guardian must provide consent

  • a signed On-Camera Participation Release is required

Participants are responsible for identifying if minors will be involved.

7. Safety and conduct

Participants agree to:

  • follow reasonable safety instructions during filming

  • behave respectfully toward others

  • disclose any relevant risks or concerns ahead of time

Filming may be paused or stopped if safety becomes a concern.

8. Cancellations and changes

Filming dates, locations, or concepts may change due to weather, access, safety, or other factors.

Aussie Park Barbies will communicate changes as early as possible.

9. Liability

Participation is voluntary. Aussie Park Barbies is not responsible for personal property loss or injury except where required by law.

10. Agreement

By submitting this form, you confirm that:

  • you have read and understood these terms

  • you agree to participate under these conditions

  • you understand that anyone appearing on camera must complete an On-Camera Participation Release

Please download the talent release form. You must bring this with you completed on the day of filming.
